What kinds of screenshots am I required to submit on Apple & Google? How do I design and resize as per app store guidelines?

While submitting your app to the app stores, you must upload screenshots of your app. These screenshots must meet certain size guidelines to ensure your app submission is approved.

Apple App Store requirements

Here are the size requirements for iPhone and iPad devices –

iPhone requirements

• iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7’) – 1290 x 2796 pixels

• iPhone 14 Pro (6.1”): 1179 x 2556 pixels

• iPhone SE (2nd generation) (4.7”): 750 x 1334 pixels

iPad requirements

• iPad Pro (3rd generation) (12.9”): 2048 x 2732 pixels

• iPad Pro (11”): 1668 x 2388 pixels

Google Play Store requirements

Here are the size requirements for Android devices –

Mobile and tablet device screenshots

• Minimum dimension: 320 pixels.

• Maximum dimension: 3840 pixels.

• Minimum aspect ratio: 16:9

• Maximum aspect ratio is 2:1.

You can use JPEG and PNG file formats for Apple App Store submission. For Google Play submission, only PNG file formats are accepted.
