Follow these steps to integrate a forum plugin on your app:

  1. Connect your WordPress website and app

Use the Application Password feature to enable custom post taxonomies. Follow this guide to connect your website and app using the Application password:

  1. Add custom posts to your menu

  • On your WordPress website’s admin panel, navigate to Appearance > Menus.

  • Choose your primary menu and add the custom posts you want to display in the app.

  1. Configure the app menu in AppMySite

  • Navigate to the Menu screen in the Settings module of your AppMySite account.

  • Select the box next to Pick a menu from my website.

  • Choose your primary menu.

  1. Reflect custom posts in the app

Your app will now mirror the custom posts from your website in the app.

  1. Render posts in web view (optional)

  • Navigate to Settings > Posts in your AppMySite account.

  • Turn on the Web View toggle to display custom posts in the app exactly as they appear on your website.
