A post is a time-stamped article organized through categories, tags, and attributes. The most recent posts appear first.
Follow the steps below to create a new post in your app:
Navigate to the Post section of your app.
From the dropdown menu, select Posts.
Click on the +Create button at the top right of the screen.
Title
Add a title for your post.
You can preview the title placement in the emulator.
Image
Upload an image to enhance your post’s visual appeal.
Adjust the image ratio to fit your layout.
Click Upload to choose from:
AppMySite Image Library – Filter images by orientation, color, or search.
Advanced Design Editor – Click Create to design an image from scratch.
Pre-designed Image Upload – Upload an image from your device.
Link: Enter a web link to upload an image.
Heading
Add bold, clear headings to highlight key sections.
Align the heading to the left, center, or right based on your preference.
Paragraph
Add a text block to describe your content, product, or service.
Customize text using:
Bold, italics, underline, alignment, bullet points, hyperlinks.
Click Add Section to include more content sections in your post.
Gallery
Display multiple images in a gallery format.
Customize the layout by selecting:
Number of columns and rows from the dropdown menu.
Image ratio based on your design preference.
Upload images from:
AppMySite Image Library
Your device
Advanced Design Editor to create custom images.
Video
Upload engaging multimedia content to enhance your post.
Alternative option: Paste a video link to embed it in your post.
Upload a custom thumbnail for the video.
Supported formats for a video upload is MP4, MOV, M4V, 3GP (Max file size: 200 MB).
Code
Add iframe snippets for interactive content or specialized features.
Button
Insert interactive buttons to direct users to:
External web pages
Other posts or pages
Emails or phone numbers
Customize buttons by selecting:
Button color
Text color
Attribute
Attributes help app users filter posts efficiently.
Add or remove attributes from Settings.
Spacer
Add spacing between elements to maintain a clean layout.
Adjust the space size from the dropdown menu.
Separator
Use separators to visually divide different sections of your post.
Customize by adjusting:
Width of the border
Color
YouTube video
Embed YouTube videos by pasting the video link.
Facebook video
Add Facebook content by pasting a Facebook video link.
Vimeo video
Showcase Vimeo-hosted videos by pasting the Vimeo link into this block.
Duplicate: Quickly copy an existing item by clicking the duplicate icon.
Delete: Remove an item from the bottom bar by clicking the delete icon.
Re-arrange: Drag and drop items to change their order on the bottom bar.
Once you have added the sections to your post, you can customize the settings by clicking the “Settings” button in the top menu. This will allow you to customize and organize your posts.
Custom posts can only be added to the Custom App solution. For the Web to App, WordPress, and WooCommerce solutions, posts are directly fetched from your website.
