Apple login requirement

Why is it mandatory to turn on Apple login if Google login is enabled on my WordPress app?

When submitting your app to the Apple App Store for review, it's essential to comply with Apple’s strict guidelines to ensure it gets approved. According to Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines, if your app offers login options via third-party services like Google, it is mandatory also to offer Apple login as an alternative.

This requirement allows users to use Apple’s secure login system, which integrates seamlessly with their Apple ID. The Apple login option provides a streamlined, privacy-focused authentication experience, allowing users to sign in quickly and safely without sharing unnecessary personal information.

Failing to include an Apple login option when Google or other third-party logins are available may result in your app being rejected during the review process or removed from the App Store if it’s already live. Enabling Apple login alongside Google login is mandatory to ensure your app complies with these guidelines and provides a user-friendly experience.

By adhering to this rule, you comply with Apple’s policies and offer your users greater flexibility and security in how they choose to log in to your app.
