How can I use the Preview 2.0 Beta feature to test my app?

The Preview 2.0 Beta feature allows you to test and simulate your app's functionality directly on the AppMySite platform. With this feature, you can also test your app in different languages and geo-locations, ensuring it meets the needs of your global audience. Additionally, you can create screen recordings and take screenshots of the simulation for further review or sharing. Follow the steps to test your app:

  • Access the Preview 2.0 Beta:

  • Simulate Your App:

    • Choose the device type (Android or iOS) and screen size to simulate your app experience.

  • Restart the App with the Refresh Button:

    • Use the Refresh button to relaunch the app simulation from the beginning, ensuring you can test fresh app states.

  • Capture Screenshots:

    • Use the Screenshot button to take screenshots of the app simulation. Screenshots are saved to your computer for further review or sharing.

  • Test Different Languages:

    • Use the Language Selector to test how your app appears in various languages, ensuring all content, menus, and screens render correctly for your multilingual users. You can select your preferred language from the pop-up after clicking the language selector button.

  • Test Different Geo-Locations:

    • Select the Location Option to simulate your app in different regions or geo-locations. This allows you to test location-specific features such as currency, content, and localized settings. You can select your preferred location from the pop-up after clicking the geo-location selector button.

  • Create a Screen Recording:

    • Click the Record button to start recording your app’s simulation.

    • Once the recording is complete, a pop-up will appear in your browser.

  • Allow Pop-Ups (if blocked):

    • If the pop-up is blocked, your browser will display a "Pop-ups blocked" notification (top-right corner).

    • Click the notification and select "Always allow pop-ups and redirects from app.appmysite.com".

    • The recording will then be saved automatically to your computer.

  • Access the Recording:

    • Locate the saved screen recording file in your system’s Downloads folder.
