How to configure webview settings?

AppMySite enables you to render your mobile site in an app with a web view interface. A webview interface is built to render your mobile site in the app.

You can configure your app’s webview interface by changing settings within your AppMySite account. Here are the web view settings you can configure with AppMySite –

  • Show the app’s header.

  • Show website title.

  • Show a custom title to show a title of your choice in the app header instead of your website title.

  • Show website domain.

  • Configure title alignment.

  • Display arrows to navigate web pages.

  • Show a three-dot menu for additional options.

  • Set your app header’s background color, border color, icon color, and text color.

  • Show website’s header.

  • Show website’s sidebar.

  • Show website’s footer.

  • Allow zooming using pinch gestures.

  • Enable pull to refresh.

  • Preserve user-specific settings and data by retaining cookies. Can be used for retaining web login sessions.

  • Include the app code version in the User Agent string. Enabling this option helps track and identify the app code version that is accessing your webpage.

  • Display an animation while pages load in the background with a native loader.

  • Hide elements by class and ID.

The option to enable webviews is available across all four products – WordPress, WooCommerce, Web to app, and Custom app. You can find all the aforementioned options in your app dashboard. Simply navigate to the Webview module to find these options.
